Dental Exam and Cleaning

It’s important for everyone to visit a dentist at least every six months for a general hygiene appointment. During these visits, a certified hygienist will thoroughly clean and remove plaque buildup from the patient’s teeth. The teeth will also be examined by the hygienist and doctor to make sure there are no underlying problems that need further attention.

We may also take x-rays to make sure there are no issues occurring below the surface. This could include cavities and decay, impacted teeth, root damage, and other conditions that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

General hygiene appointments are essential for preventing oral health problems and, if they have developed, catching them before they worsen.
