If you are missing teeth (partially edentulous), it might influence your ability to bite or talk properly. Dentures might be an excellent tooth substitution for you.
If you have lost a few of your teeth, but not all, a partial denture might be the best answer for you. Partial dentures begin with a base that looks like your natural gumline and houses porcelain teeth. This device is custom fit for your mouth, so it fits without slipping. We will typically attach the partial denture to the surrounding teeth with metal clasps.
Other than filling the gaps where teeth are missing, partial dentures provide additional advantages. The teeth around the gap won’t have the chance to shift or affect the way you bite. Rather than set dentures, which are permanent, you can remove partial dentures for cleaning.
